Fennel Seeds is used to produce the Fennel a flowering plant from the family of carrots. The seeds are
used extensively in Indian cuisine for their presence of essential oils. These are also used for their
medicinal benefits because they work wonderfully for constipation, digestion, and bloating. They are
popularly known as sauf in India and have a sweet flavour.

Potting Mixture Ratio
Prepare the seeding mixture which can be a mixture of soil, sand or roasted husk and compost or manure in a ratio of 1:1:1 or 2:1:1.

Soak seeds for a day or two, sow them in small containers place them in a well-ventilated area and transplant them to the main field.

Water when the soil is dry about 5 cm below the surface and grows best in full sun.
